Packed and ready to go!

We’re all packed up and ready to go! We took this picture just minutes before leaving for the airport in Minneapolis. Here’s our agenda for the next 24 hours or so:
Depart Minneapolis on Northwest at 1:20 p.m.
Arrive Washington Dulles at 4:46 p.m.

Depart Washington Dulles on Ethiopian Airlines at 8:30 p.m.
Arrive Rome, Italy at 11:20 a.m. (fuel stop)

Depart Rome, Italy at 12:20 p.m.
Arrive Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at 7:15 p.m.

We plan on going straight to the hotel when we arrive on Thursday evening and then going to the Care Center to meet Tesfa on Friday morning! I’ve (Anna) not tried to think too much about these event. Please pray that it all goes well.

We think there may be some opportunities for us to get online while in Addis Ababa so we will try to post some updates to the site if possible while we’re away.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words, encouragement, and prayers over the last several months. We’re very excited about meeting Tesfa, about parenthood and about introducing Tesfa to all of you!
